Ordino is the most northern parish of Andorra. Its size of 90 km squared is populated by about 4,500 people and a maximum of 2,848 meters on the Tristaina Mountain. This zone of Andorra has an economy that is based on tourism, exploiting its natural resources, both environmental and cultural. Some examples of this are that of the Ordino-Arcalis Campo de Nieve with an extention of 500 hectars and peaks measuring up to 2,600 meters; various livestock routes; the Sorteny Natural Park, with over 700 plant species, some of them only known to the Pyrenees.
Regarding the culture, there are several museums in the city, such as the Nicolai Siadristy´s Microminiature Museum, the Iconographic Museum, the Postal Museum, the Areny Plandolit´s House Museum, and also the National Auditorium of Andorra.
