Hiking and Sight Seeing in Andorra, Europe

When speaking of Andorra, the images that come to mind are mountains, and nature. This is why hiking is a fabulous choice of activity to commence during your vacation in Anodrra. For sport lovers, nature lovers, those who like taking long walks at their own pace, come enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty of the Sordeny Natural Park. In Andorra, we have long routes such as the Juberri-Sisponi (100 kilometers!!!), or little routes inside each district.

There are many routes to choose from here in Andorra, varying in difficulty. Some make for a nice day walk, and others for a challenging, sweaty work-out for those who love rock climbing and mountain scaling.

These routes run from between 10 and 18 km, and each has rest spots so you can take a break and regroup your strength for the long day ahead of walking.

The Refugio de Perafita, and de L’Illa, Siscaró, Coms de Jan and Coma Pedrosa are all nice trails to take.

The entire circuit measures 100 km and separates Juberri from Sispony. The dangerous or very difficult places are well marked. We also advise you to keep in mind unpredictable weather and pack prepared for sudden changes..

Other smoother routes for hiking can be found throughout the different districts, whose trails measure between 45 minute hikes and 3 hours. While hiking, just remember, it´s not a competition. To be here and enjoy your surroundings should be the goal!
