Do you know where you wish to go on holiday?
Andorra has its roots based in Roman history, and it is a country that has the advantage of being small, so that only in a few days it is possible to do a complete cultural tour of the place to brush up on your history. The Casa del Val, the Sanctuario de Meritxell, or the Iconographic museums are the most frequented cultural spots.
Simply by visiting Andorra, you can't help but pick up a little of its Roman history, as there are Roman ruins scattered all along this little country in the Pyrenees. We reccomend that you visit the Casa del Val, that is the current headquartersof the Consejo de los Valles Andorranos (Consult of the Andorran Valleys). It is located in the capital, Andorra la Vella. If you like Roman art, you should definitely visit the Centro de Interpretación de Arte Romano (Roman Art Interpretation Center), which is located in the La Massana Parish.
Another place to visit is the Santuario de Meritxell (Meritxell Sanctuary), which is in Conillo. If you are in Ordino, check out the museums there, especially the Nature Museum, or the Miniature Museum.
Above all, if there is only one place you can visit, or if your time is short, go visit the Iconographic Museum. It is one of three museums in the entire Western world that have icons from the 16th and 17th Centuries. It is located in Ordino.
